Our Olive Grove

La Traversagna, the Fontana family farm and olive grove, is located at the foot of the Tuscan hills in the natural park of San Migliarano/San Rossore, Lucca Province near Pisa.

Here in a sunny valley, an olive grove surrounds the century-old family farmhouse.

In 1994, the family grove was expanded dramatically when 45,000 olive trees were planted across 250 acres of beautiful green meadows at La Traversagna — which is now the largest olive grove in Italy . A walk through La Traversagna is like a step back in time, when olives were grown and hand picked in much the same way as they are today.
